CCTV images have been released to identify the driver of a car who may have witnessed a fatal crash in Deptford.
Paul Weidlich, 54, from Greenwich, was killed when he was hit by a car in Creek Road around 5.20pm on Saturday June 4.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old man, stopped at the scene.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was bailed to a date in mid-September.
Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command based at Catford are investigating.
They are appealing for the driver of a dark coloured BMW who witnessed the collision to come forward.
The BMW was immediately behind the Volkswagen but did not stop at the scene.
Detective Constable Alex Wheater, said: "The information the occupants of this BMW could provide is very important to the onward investigation and I would therefore greatly appreciate their assistance."
