A pedestrian thought to be in his 40s was taken to hospital this morning after he was hit by a car in Bromley Road.
The Met Police were called at 7.13am to reports of a man struck by a car at the junction with Royal Parade and Bromley Lane, close to the war memorial.
The London Ambulance Service were called at 7.14am and treated a man at the scene for leg pain.
He was then taken to a hospital in Farnborough.
Traffic was slow earlier today but has now cleared and the 61 and 273 buses are now back to their usual routes.
