Voters in south-east London have taken to social media to say thank you to their MPs in response to the tragic killing of Jo Cox yesterday.
The 41-year-old Labour MP was fatally shot and stabbed after holding a surgery in Birstall, West Yorkshire.
Tributes have poured in for the mother-of-two who has been described as a "force of nature" for her dedication in helping others and campaigning for human rights.
As friends, family and fellow politicians continue to rememeber Mrs Cox, many voters turned to Twitter to thank their serving MPs.
Thank you @mtpennycook if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have been actively involved in the Labour party #ThankYourMP

Politicians have been warned to review their security after yesterday's attack, which marks the first sitting MP to be killed since 1990.
Mrs Cox was attacked by a man reportedly shouting "Britain first" at around lunchtime.
Witnesses said her assailant kicked and stabbed her and then shot her several times, the final shot aimed at her head.
The alleged gunman has been named locally as Tommy Mair, 52, who neighbours in Birstall have described as "a loner". He was arrested near the scene soon after the attack.
