A man who was hit by a train at Mottingham station is now in a stable condition.
The incident happened at about 6pm on Sunday (February 28) and British Transport Police (BTP) informed his next of kin.
The man was taken to a local hospital and investigations are currently ongoing.
Met Police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) also attended the scene.
A BTP spokesman said: “Officers were called to Mottingham station at 6.12pm after a man was struck by a train.
“We have notified his next of kin and the line was handed back to Network Rail at 7.19pm.”
