A flood alert has been issued for the Thames at Greenwich due to a high river flow for the time of year.
The Environment Agency warned that the there was a flood risk from the Thames Barrier to Putney Bridge and flows are expected to remain high for the next three days.
The Royal Naval College riverfront and the Almshouse Slipway at Crane Street are some of the areas which could potentially be affected.
The warning in force today (February 12) is the lowest of the three warnings, meaning that people should be prepared for possible flooding.
