The head of Wilmington Grammar School for Boys has paid tribute to Reece Burrowes - a 17-year-old pupil found hanged in a Bexleyheath park on Sunday (December 6).
TOP STORIES: Headteacher Andy Williamson said: “The school is deeply saddened by Reece’s sudden death.
“He was a quiet, hard-working and extremely popular young man who had achieved very well in his Year 12 AS exams and had amazing potential in front of him.
“He enjoyed all the school had to offer and was well liked by others in his year group.

Mr Williamson added: “The school community, in particular his closest friends and the staff who taught Reece, are naturally very upset and the school is putting in all the immediate and long-term support that is required to help them through this most difficult time.
“Our sincere thoughts go out to his parents, other friends and family.”
Since news of his death broke, tributes for Reece have been pouring in for the keen Kent Exiles American footballer.
