They jogged, they sprinted, they strolled and rolled – Bromley was overrun with festive cheer as 1,000 red-suited Santas dashed to the town centre.
Friends and families braved the cold weather in their Santa suits for the annual 2km Mytime Active run on Sunday (November 29), which kicked off with a mass warm up at Queensmead Recreation Ground in Shortlands.
Once the last Santa has crossed the finish line in the town centre’s Market Square, crowds gathered to watch the Christmas lights switch on.
Mytime Active’s events’ manager Rob Drinkwater said: “It’s all about getting active while having fun and it certainly got people into the Christmas spirit.
“Afterwards, there were smiling Santas swarming everywhere.

“Wherever you looked around the town centre there were Santas at the market stalls, in the shops, the cafes and the restaurants.”
