Drivers are warned to expect delays around the Blackwall Tunnel, after a crash and road closures on the north-side of the Thames this morning (October 4).
The crash occured on the A12 Blackwall Tunnel Approach Northbound near B125 Abbott Road (Abbott Road Interchange) in Poplar.
Queues through the tunnel heading north from Greenwich are expected to "take some time to clear".

There is currently congestion on the A102 Blackwall Tunnel Approach to A2203 Blackwall Lane / Tunnel Avenue.
All lanes re-opened just after 11am.
A12 - collision has cleared northbound after the tunnel. Residual queues through the tunnel will take time to clear

The tunnel wascompletely closed from 1am to 8am this morning, due to overnight maintenance works.
