A bus driver is thought to have had a ‘medical episode’ before crashing a bus into a wall in Bromley.

The driver of the single decker 354, en route to Bromley North, ploughed into a brick wall outside Bromley Magistrates’ Court along High Street.

Police were called to the scene just before 12.20pm today (September 17) and temporarily closed the road.

A spokesman for the Met said: “The bus driver may have had some kind of medical episode.

“No one else was injured, he’ll be checked over at hospital.”

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) sent two responders by car, an ambulance crew and an incident officer to the scene.

They treated a man at the scene who was then taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough.

No other vehicles were involved in the smash.
