A sword-wielding man has been handed a suspended jail sentence, after taking the weapon out in Gravesend.
Harjit Singh Cheema was caught armed with a sword in Old Road East, where he lives, on June 23.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article.
He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for one year, at Medway Magistrates' Court last Monday (Aug 10).
He has to pay a £180 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
