PROPOSALS to move a travellers' site to another part of the borough have gone out to consultation.
The seven-pitch travellers' site is currently in Thurston Road, Lewisham.
But the area is earmarked for a replacement bus station as part of the £250m Lewisham Gateway Development.
The development will also include shops, offices, leisure facilities and parking.
On April 18 at a meeting of Lewisham Council's Mayor and cabinet, in Catford, Mayor Steve Bullock agreed to start a consultation with travellers and residents on two possible alternative sites.
These include the lorry park site behind Laurence House, Catford, and the former Watergate School, Church Grove, Lewisham.
The outcome of the consultation will be reported to the Mayor and cabinet on June 20.
