Drivers on the M25 near Dartford Tunnel have been experiencing severe delays after a two-vehicle crash closed two lanes of traffic earlier today (May 27).
Traffic was stopped at around 11.30am following the collision involving several vehicles.
A Kent Police spokeswoman said officers on patrol came across the crash at around 11.47am.
She said: "Both vehicles are on the hard shoulder and there do not appear at this stage to be any serious injuries."
All lanes have reopened but congestion is still expected at the M25 to J3 M20 / A20 Swanley Interchange.

The right-hand tunnel re-opened at around 12.05pm.
Tailbacks are still reaching beyond J3, though not yet reaching J4.
