A Bexleyheath teenager "who knew education wasn't for her" has secured a full-time job as part of a youth employment scheme.

Eleanor Brommett, 17, from Marten Avenue, left school with nine GCSEs but dropped out of college after just one month despite a change in the law meaning she must stay in education or training until 18.

Miss Brommett was referred to Sidcup-based MiddletonMurray by a friend and placed on a six-week business and administration training course.
