A pair of youngsters from a Bexley theatre school are celebrating after getting picked for a major production.
Ten-year-old Aaliyah Morgan from Eltham and nine-year-old Milo Claes from Chislehurst were chosen from hundreds of hopefuls to appear in The Railway Children.
The show will be staged in a new, purpose-built 1,000 seat venue complete with a real track and a 60-tonne vintage steam locomotive.
MORE THEATRE AND COMEDY NEWS:
Both Milo and Aaliyah attend All the Arts Theatre School and are taught by ex-Brookside actress Lucy Morgans.
Lucy said: “To say that we are proud would be an understatement.
“So many children auditioned for these roles and that two of our students won the parts speaks volumes about how talented they are, and how hard they work.
“They are both so dedicated and truly deserves this opportunities.”
The pair started rehearsing last week and start performing later this month.
