There are still long delays this evening (April 23) due to emergency repairs on the Dartford Tunnel.
Two lanes were closed on the M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise, between junction 1A for Erith and Swanscombe and junction 31 for West Thurrock, at 10.20am for several hours.
Part of a drain has collapsed in the east/right-hand tunnel (the higher of the two tunnels).
Vehicles up to 4.8 metres high could still use the west bore tunnel.
Although all lanes have now re-opened there is congestion on the M25 as far as the Swanley Interchange.
