CRI is a leading charity providing treatment and support to over 68,000 vulnerable people in England and Wales every day. We champion people who have faced hardships like abuse, homelessness and addiction, and empower them to lead the lives they want, on their terms.
New Direction is the local recovery service for Lewisham working with complex needs cases to explore long-term recovery from the impact of drug and alcohol misuse.
We successfully bid for funding from the Forest Hill Local Funding Assembly to hold a Family Fun Day on Monday 4th May (bank holiday) in order to celebrate the vital role of the local community to support recovery. The event will feature music, food, entertainment and games and is open to all members of the public of all ages.
This will also be a chance to meet local services and learn more about the support that is on offer. The event will be held at Horniman's Triangle (opposite Horniman Museum) between 11am and 5pm. We look forward to seeing as many people on the day as possible!
