AN ELDERLY man was pulled conscious from underneath a train in Orpington station ealier today.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, was conscious when he was rescued from the tracks on platform two.
He was air-lifted to The Royal London Hospital suffering injuries to both legs.
British Transport Police (BTP) say the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Sergeant Brian Hornett said: "The BTP is making further inquiries and will be advising the next-of-kin."
London Air Ambulance landed next to platform seven at the station.
The train involved in the incident was the 11.57 Ashford to Charing Cross service.
Fire crews from Orpington, Bromley and Bexley were called to the scene at around 1pm.
Ambulance crews were also at the scene.
