POLICE searched two petrol stations after hoax bomb scares were reported.
Further investigations are being carried out after the false alarms at BP petrol stations in Perry Street, Chislehurst and Mottingham Road, Mottingham.
A BP spokesman said: "We can confirm police were called to the sites overnight and at 11.30am today.
"The sites were searched and police are carrying out further investigation."
An eye-witness said the petrol station was cordoned off while officers investigated.
Speaking from the Porcupine pub opposite, he said: "Everyone is talking about it.
"An old people's home and a physiotherapists were evacuated.
"People came into the pub for a drink."
