KENT police has pledged to make the streets a safer place during half-term with a number of crime-fighting initiatives.
The week-long holiday has kicked off, allowing pupils to enjoy time off until February 19.
Officers are trying to curb anti-social behaviour and nuiscance crime during this time.
Reports of these types of crimes will be dealt with quickly in peak times, Kent Police has pledged.
Town centre patrols will be stepped up in Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley.
There will also be mobile CCTV in place around Kent and roadside vehicle checks.
Police are warning mini-moto users and their parents to make sure they know the law if they intend to use the vehicles during half-term.
Mini-motos can be used on private land if permission is granted from the land-owner.
They can only be used on the road if the rider on over 16 years old, has a driving licence and the mini-moto is taxed and insured.
