A MUD-throwing pickpocket who stole an elderly woman's bag is awaiting sentencing.
Bromley Magistrates' Court heard how Youcef Gueman, aged 43, threw mud onto a woman's coat in an alleyway near Walters Yard, Bromley.
He brushed it off and said something had been thrown out of a window.
The 79-year-old victim realised her purse had been stolen after the incident at 7.50pm on September 18 last year.
She later picked out Gueman in an identity parade.
He pleaded guilty to theft on January 29 and a date for his sentencing at Croydon Crown Court has not yet been set.
Gueman, of Tilford Avenue, New Addington, was sentenced to 22 months' imprisonment for a previous robbery conviction on January 17.
