UNLIKE many Bromley schools which closed on Thursday, Churchfields Primary School remained open and made the most of the snowy day.
Children and teachers wrapped up warm and braved the elements for a playtime filled with snow.
Snowballs whizzed past as snowmen and igloos were built by all.
Back in the classroom the day of awe and wonderment was continued with snow poems, snowy stories and science investigations into how to keep the snow forever.
