A 46-YEAR-OLD bakery worker has been remanded in custody following a knife attack on a woman.
Stephen Paul McSharry was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent on Monday.
The 36-year-old woman was attacked outside a Jet petrol station in Croydon Road, Penge, at 7.30am the same day.
She was treated at Lewisham Hospital and later released.
McSharry, of no fixed address, appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on February 13. He has not yet entered a plea.
