CRIME prevention advice was on offer in a supermarket car park.
Cyclists could take their bikes to the crime prevention van outside Iceland, Glebe Way, West Wickham, and get them security marked.
The stenciling service would normally cost £11.95 but was free at last Saturday's event.
Bromley police officers and council trading standards officials were also there to tell people how to avoid crime.
Event organiser PC Lyn Poole said: "When property is stolen, it will have a greater chance of being returned to its owner if it is marked.
"This is what we were doing at West Wickham at the crime awareness van."
