POLICE want to speak to a commuter accused of slapping a woman on a train.
The incident happened on a train travelling between London Bridge and Forest Hill around 6.30pm on November 20 last year.
PC Richard Spencer said the 25-year-old woman had asked the man if he could move his jacket so she could sit down.
"The man allegedly then accused the woman of being racist and slapped her across the back for not saying sorry," he said.
"The woman managed to take a photo of the male on her mobile phone and police are eager to identify the man pictured to get his version of events."
The man is described as black, about 6ft tall and aged about 30. He was wearing a dark brown jacket and glasses.
Anyone who may be able to identify the man, or who was on the train and witnessed the incident, should contact British Transport Police's witness appeal line on 020 7391 5275.
