Bus lane changes welcomed BUS lane changes have been welcomed by an opposition party leader.
The dotted lines on the Cray Avenue bus lane will be extended to a length of 60m.
This will mean drivers can use the lane at Station Approach, Orpington, to turn left.
Bromley Council is also going to consider whether it needs to be in operation from 7am to 7pm seven days a week.
Liberal Democrat leader Councillor David McBride said: "This is a very welcome decision.
"Many people in Orpington use the Cray Avenue bus lane and have commented it is difficult turning left into Leesons Hill in such a small space.
"The investigation into the hours of use is also welcome."
Environment and leisure portfolio holder Councillor Colin Smith made the decision at a committee meeting last month.
