PASSENGERS are to be benefit from a new team of police patrollingbus routes in the borough.
The safer transport team of police and PCSOs is the first team of this type in London.
A team of nine PCSOs is targeting routes across Bromley after the launch on January 29. A second team will be introduced in the next few weeks.
Chief Inspector Marshall Kent, in charge of safer neighbourhood teams for Bromley Police, said: "This is good news for the law-abiding public and bad news for those who commit crime and anti-social behaviour on our bus services."
