SHAKESPEARE was brought to life when sixth form students performed one of the Bard's most famous plays.
Twenty-five theatre students from Wilmington Grammar School performed A Midsummer Night's Dream in front of 250 parents and friends.
The students aged between 16 and 18 spent two months rehearsing for the two-day performance run which started on February 2.
The group from the school in Common Lane, Wilmington, have been studying for their A-levels and were marked individually on their performances.
Two teachers at the school, head of music Karen Hobbs and head of English Camilla Brown worked together to organise the event.
Mrs Hobbs said: "The production was a resounding success and the students worked really hard."
