OLD fashioned skipping was on the lesson plan for youngsters at a primary school.

Thirty-six children from Rosherville Primary School in London Road, Northfleet, took part in a workshop and learnt rope games then watched a performance by an instructor.

Headteacher Nasib Cheema organised the day to get the children to take up an active game during playtimes.

Headteacher said: "The children and teachers had a brilliant time.

"We learned 101 different ways to use a skipping rope."
