A PRIMARY school has celebrated its 100th anniversary with a party for teachers and pupils.
More than 350 children and ex-pupils attended Crockenhill Primary School in The Green, Crockenhill, to celebrate the centenary.
Poetry was read by pupils and a song was specially written by the music teacher to mark the occasion. A cake was also cut at the event on January 29.
Sue Norwell has been headteacher at the school for the last six years.
She said: "We all had a wonderful time. It was absolutely marvellous; a real sense of community."
