PEACE campaigners from two boroughs are coming together to air their views on war.
Members of Lewisham's Stop the War Coalition and the Greenwich Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament will hold a meeting on Monday.
From 7.30pm at Ladywell Leisure Centre's Palms Bar in Lewisham High Street, speakers, including representatives from Lewisham Islamic Centre, will discuss why they believe troops should be removed from Iraq.
Lewisham Stop the War event co-ordinator Judith Wright said: "The situation in Iraq is getting worse and the meeting will let people find out more.
"Hopefully it will encourage people to lobby their MP."
The meeting comes two weeks before the two groups will join others at a national anti-war demonstration beginning in Hyde Park, London, at noon on February 24.
