A HEADTEACHER is planning a series of events to celebrate her school's 100th anniversary.
Diane Atkinson, of Sherington Primary School, Wyndcliff Road, Charlton, is appealing to past pupils to get in touch.
Former students, who include musician and broadcaster Jools Holland and actor Daniel Day Lewis, can email memories of their school days to be used on a celebratory website.
Headteacher of five years Mrs Atkinson plans to host a series of reunions, tours, talks and events involving the community, and past and present pupils.
The events will begin following the school's official 100th birthday on March 4.
Mrs Atkinson said: "We have got former pupils coming over to visit from as far as Australia and Spain.
"It would be great if old pupils could send us their memories."
Sherington first opened as an all boys' school in 1907, before later becoming a junior school. It became a primary school in 1998.
Email your memories to yourcentenary.sherington.greenwich@lgfl.net or call the school on 020 8858 5497.
