TWO children and a man had to be treated for smoke inhalation after escaping a fire.
The blaze broke out in the living room of a house in Alexandra Close, Deptford, yesterday morning at 5.45am.
Half of the living room was damaged by the blaze.
Heavy smoke spread throughout the building.
Crews from Deptford and Greenwich had the fire under control by 6.10am.
There was no working smoke alarm in the property and the cause of the fire in under investigation.
