MOTORISTS on the A2 endured further delays following last night's gas leak after a collision closed part of the carriageway for three hours.
A section of the road between the junction with the M25 and the Bean Interchange was closed after the accident at around 8.30pm.
Although the majority of traffic had cleared following the three hour closure earlier that evening, diversions were put into place as traffic began to queue up again.
The road was eventually opened again at 11.30pm.
