A NEW exhibition looks at the Suffragette movement and the events leading to the death of activist Emily Davison at the Epsom Derby in 1913.
Emily ran onto the track during a race, waving a suffragette banner.
She was trampled by the King's horse, Anmer. She never regained conciousness and died four days later.
Opinion has been divided ever since as to whether she intended suicide.
A Decision to Love focuses on Emily's fatal political act from different perspectives.
The show's creator is Brian Hand, a founding member of the Irish art group Blue Funk.
A Decision to Love by Brian Hand, to February 20. Stephen Lawrence Gallery, Greenwich. Admission free. For more information, visit gre.ac.uk
