PUPILS performed one of William Shakespeare's most popular comedies at a theatre last night.
Twenty one students from Sedgehill School entertained the community with their version of Much Ado About Nothing at the Broadway Theatre, Catford Broadway, Catford.
It was organised as part of the Shakespeare in Schools Festival, and is the second year the school in Sedgehill Road, Lewisham, has taken part.
The festival lets young people perform in productions of Shakespeare's most famous plays at their nearest professional theatres.
Drama teacher Kiran Wharnsby said: "This year's cast is made up of students from Years 9, 10 and 11 and it's great to see them working together and getting on.
"Everyone worked hard to make the production really special, it was a spectacular event including salsa, colour, music, a witty script and lots of strong performances."
