TODAY is Community Hygiene Concern's Bug Busting Day where schools and the community are offered information and advice about head louse detection and treatment.
The campaign aims to synchronise bug busting across the UK to help prevent head lice from spreading.
Participating schools distribute Bug Buster Kits containing information on how to check family members for head lice effectively. This year a Bug Busting DVD has been launched. For more information, visit the website nits.net/bugbusting
