A BAR has been ordered to install sound insulation after a neighbouring restaurant owner complained about "unreasonably loud music".
The owner of Oliver's Music Bar, Nevada Street, Greenwich, has been told to carry out the work by Greenwich Council's licensing committee.
Frank Dowling, the owner of The Spread Eagle restaurant, claimed his customers were being disturbed by loud music coming from the bar below.
The restaurant floor would vibrate when music was played due to a lack of sound insulation, the licensing committee heard on January 30.
Customers made complaints, asked for discounts and even posted reviews on a food website making reference to the disturbance.
Bar owner Oliver Gayle-Revault and Mr Dowling were unavailable for comment.
