A woman was left disgusted when five dead bodies were wheeled in front of her car and in to a funeral home on a busy Sidcup street.
Linda Harris was parked in Hadlow Road, behind The Co-operative Funeralcare, at around 9.45am on Janaury 9 when staff began taking bodies out of private ambulances and into the building through a back door.
The bodies were laid out on hospital trolleys and covered in red sheets.
The 65-year-old from Walton Road had parked opposite Lloyds Pharmacy whilst she waited for her son to pick up a prescription.
She said: "It quite upset me really.
"It was covered with just a red cloth - it was obviously a body."
Mrs Harris says she saw five bodies wheeled in to the building and one brought out in a coffin during the 25 minutes she on the corner of High Street, near to Sidcup Library.
She added: "It is a busy corner and at that time a lot of people use the library "It's not nice really. It's quite undignified for the bodies as well.
"They should do it earlier in the morning."
A spokesman from the Co-operative Funeralcare said: "At the Co-operative Funeralcare, we have processes in place to ensure that we are as discreet as possible.
"We apologise for any distress caused in this instance."
