POLICE are hunting a man in his early 20s who sexually assaulted a woman in a street during the morning rush hour.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the Beverley Road area of Barnehurst, near the junction with Northall Road, on January 22 between 7am and 8am to contact them.
The woman, 41, was walking alone along the street when she was approached by the man, who then assaulted her.
He was wearing brown trousers, a dark hooded top and white trainers.
After assaulting the woman, the attacker, who was white, around 5ft 6in tall, ran off in the direction of Westfield Road.
He may have been coming from the Barnehurst station area.
