NEW measures created by the Government to try to prevent election fraud are being put into place.
People who have in the past voted using a postal or proxy vote are being contacted by letter by Bexley Council asking for their signature and date of birth.
If people want to continue to use a postal or proxy vote, they must complete the enclosed form and return it to the council within six weeks.
Anyone who thinks they should have received a letter, but has not, can call the electoral services team on 020 8294 6144/6146 or email elections.office@bexley.gov.uk
