Canadian stand-up comedian Russell Peters will bring his improv-heavy show to Greenwich.

The comedian – a judge on the US show Last Comic Standing and a star in Jon Favreau’s movie Chef – will play the O2 arena on Saturday, April 18, as part of his world tour.

On his last tour, Peters played to more than 300,000 people in 26 countries over 200 shows.

His latest show will be made up of all new material, including his takes on jobs he can understand, mobile phones, dating and his uncle who has never been punched in the mouth.

His signature lightning fast improvisation with audience will also feature.

He said: “I like to interact with the front rows.

“I use the interaction to take me from bit to bit.  Some guys go on-stage with a script and don’t deviate from it.  That’s not my style.  I have my set and know what I want to cover; I just use the audience to move me in certain directions. It’s very collaborative and each show is unique.”

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (November 28) and cost £37.50 and £48.50 at livenation.co.uk
