A pair of Sidcup guide leaders have achieved the highest award offered by the Guide Association.
Guide leader Kate McGranaghan, 26, of Harcourt Avenue, and Brownie leader Rebecca Crisp, 26, from Streatham, received their Queen's Guide Award at an official county celebration at Kemnal Scout HQ.
The award, which takes between one and two years to achieve, is based on the concepts of personal challenge and participation and is split into five sections: service, outdoor challenge, personal skill development, community action and residential.
Both leader's run their respective units at St Lawrence's Church in Hamilton Road and will attend the official national presentation of their awards on November 18 at Two Temple Place in London.
The awards will be presented by Chief Guide, Gill Slocombe.
