A Dartford nursery celebrated 25 years of caring for toddlers with a princess and pirates party.
Springfield Lodge Day Nursery and Pre School welcomed parents, nursery-goers and teachers to the celebration today (October 13).
There were Cinderellas and Blackbeards galore as the youngsters dressed-up specially for the occasion.
Party-goers enjoyed football coaching from Top Stars, live entertainment from Crazy Cats, music and movement sessions by Monkey Magic and a party spread provided by Springfield Lodge’s kitchen staff.
A time capsule was buried in the grounds of the nursery in Powder Mill Lane, including pictures and mementos from staff and pupils.
Deputy manager Donna Dole said: “We had around 120 children there plus staff.
“It was lovely to see the children’s reactions to the entertainers.
“From the younger ones we had lots of smiles and clapping and the older ones were loving it too.
“The effort the children and the staff made dressing up in their costumes was fantastic.”
