Take a stroll
Get away from it all in the 62 acres of wildflower meadows and ancient woodland of Jubilee Country Park.
A quick one
The village has three drinking holes within stumbling distance of each other; there’s the cheap and not half bad these days Sovereign of the Seas, the slightly more refined Daylight Inn but the pick of the bunch is the One Inn the Wood micropub.
Have a bite
Half the shops in Petts Wood are restaurants, especially on the posh side of the tracks (you’ll know it when you’re in it). The Village Fish and Chips in Petts Wood Road is one of the best chippies in the country.
Baking mad
Queensway Village Bakery does a tempting array of baked goods and some pretty mean lunches. It’s haunted too.
Looking good
