Three woman have been taken to hospital after the car they were travelling in got trapped between two lorries on the M25 near Dartford.
Kent police, fire and ambulance crews were called to crash on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 just past the slip road off at junction two at around 12.30pm today (August 14).
The incident is reported to have involved three vehicles - a car and two lorries.
Firefighters cut the roof off the car to reach three woman aged in their 20s and 30s who were trapped inside.
The women were taken to Kings College Hospital with 'potentially serious injuries'.
The accident took place during the fire brigade strike between 12noon and 2pm.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "The accident happened during the strike.
"Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car and release the three people who were trapped."
