A Forest Hill driver in his 70s appears lucky to have escaped with only minor injuries after his car overturned.
Ambulances, firefighters and police were called out to Perry Vale this afternoon (May 14) to the accident in Perry Vale.
The man, reported to be in his 70s, was removed from the vehicle and was taken by ambulance to Lewisham Hospital with minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said he was fully conscious.
Perry Vale is closed both ways between Sunderland Road and Dacres Road due to the overturned silver car.
Bus route 356 is on diversion.
