Three people have been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Bexley.
After receiving tip-offs from members of the public, officers from Bexley North Neighbourhoods Team executed a search warrant on a property in Northwood Place, Erith on April 5.
Upon entry, officers found a large bag of cannabis with approximately 30 smaller bags of cannabis in the lounge, £1,500 in cash, implements used to weigh and cut drugs and several mobile phones.
A 20-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and 59-year-old woman were arrested and have all been bailed to return in May.
Police Constable Dave Wager said: "We received information from the public which I quickly researched and turned into an operation. We have taken a large amount of drugs off of our streets. This is why I joined the police to work closely with the community whilst disrupting criminals and damaging their activities."
Inspector Russell Jones said: "We continue to execute search warrants at every opportunity in order to address the proliferation of controlled drugs of all types. This is an excellent job carried out by my Neighbourhood Team who will continue to target those responsible for committing offences and any form of anti social behaviour. We will not tolerate drug use or drug dealing on our Borough."
