The man who fell five floors to his death from a Crayford block of flats has been named as 56-year-old David Goldsmith.
An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned at South London Coroner’s Court in Croydon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the Town Hall flats in Town Hall Square, Crayford Road, at 5pm last Thursday after Mr Goldsmith fell around 45ft.
A London Air Ambulance landed in the Sainsbury's car-park but Mr Goldsmith died at the scene despite doctors and paramedics trying to save him.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious.
