A MAN who broke his leg while walking his dog along the seawall was rescued by the RNLI crew in Gravesend.
A paramedic had walked a mile along the seawall to reach the casualty and he then requested the lifeboat as the easiest way of recovering him.
The injured man was placed on a stretcher by the lifeboat crew and he was placed on the boat with his dog.
An ambulance crew was waiting at the Royal terrace Pier in Gravesend to take him to hospital.
