A CRASH between a motorbike and reportedly six other vehicles has left the motorcyclist in hospital with head and arm injuries.
The incident on the A2 London bound between Darenth and Dartford Heath occurred yesterday (JAN 21) at 5.35pm.
All three lanes were closed as a result for around 90 minutes before lane one was reopened.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called at 5.35 pm to reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the London-bound carriageway of the A2.
"It was reported a motorcycle and six other vehicles were involved in a collision just before the Dartford Heath turn off. All three lanes were blocked as a result of the collision.
"The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in London to treat head and arm injuries.
"Lane one of the carriageway was opened by 7.15pm, while all three lanes were back in use by 8.10pm."
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: "We treated a man aged around 50 and he was taken as a priority to King's College Hospital.
"As well as being assessed for a head injury, it was reported he had injuries to his chest, pelvis and leg."
